The start of the 1977-78 Basketball season brought with it a new coach. Coach Dave Majick introduced to the team new exercises, drills, isometrics, and plays. the team had to learn these quickly and efficiently and di so. Coach Majick also started the idea of the sixth man. This was that the pep and enthusiasm of the student body influenced the team to victory. Seniors, Dave Cross, Rick Darocha, and Doug Richmen, helped Coach Majick with their ability and reediness. Juniors, Jeff Friend, who lead the team with 306 points and 234 rebounds, and Bill Weaver who lead the teams' foul shooting with 71%, were picked 1st and 2nd Team "A" League respectively.
